Free flow filters can be categorized in three groups.

1. High Flow Filters: High flow filters let your engine breathe easier but still allow you to use your stock air filter box.

2. Intake Tubes: Intake tubes replace your factory air box and replace the filter with a high flow tip. The advantage of this set up is the tube creates a vortex and helps reduce the buffeting characteristics of the factory air box thus allowing more air to your engine.

3. Cold Air Intake Systems/FIPK Kits: These systems totally remove all factory parts relocating the mass airflow sensors creating a cold air intake box to separate the incoming air from the engine heat. Thus, creating colder more compressible air for your engine to use.

   Throttle Body Spacers! These are one of the best-kept secrets around. TB spacers swirl the air behind your throttle body creating a vortex that allows your engine to use a better-mixed fuel to air ratio plus the ability to compress already compressed air allowing for better and more powerful ignition. In conjunction with the intake and exhaust this is the best possibility for more power. Plus, they sound cool.
